Marine electronics: Logika Control at the Genoa Boat Show
A visit to the Boat Show to experience our technologies in action
The Genoa Boat Show represents a key meeting point for the boating world every year, not only for the big shipbuilding brands, but also for those working behind the scenes of technological innovation. With this in mind, Logika Control took part in the event with a careful and technical look, visiting their clients' booths and observing the real-world application of their marine electronics solutions in the field.
During the visit, our Technical Director, Paul Nozza, had the opportunity to engage directly with partner companies such as. Dometic, among the leading players in on-board air conditioning and air handling systems. It was an opportunity to see up close where and how our electronic boards work every day, contributing to the functionality and efficiency of complex systems.
Complexity and specialization
The marine environment imposes stringent technical requirements: systems that must withstand moisture, vibration, temperature fluctuations and prolonged conditions of use. For this reason, developing marine electronics does not mean simply adapting what works elsewhere, but designing from the beginning with a highly specific context in mind.
Logika Control's signature electronic boards are an integral part of systems critical to life on board, such as:
- multi-compressor chiller, to regulate temperature efficiently;
- fan coils and air handling units, responsible for the quality of the indoor environment;
- home automation systems that integrate sensors, actuators and user interfaces into an ecosystem that can also be controlled remotely.
Each solution is custom developed, ensuring not only compatibility and performance, but also long-term reliability.
From observation to continuous improvement
Participating in the show as technical observers allowed us to experience the impact of our technologies firsthand, but also to gather valuable information. Talking with those who use our products on board means listening to needs, sensing future trends and identifying new areas of application.
Each direct comparison strengthens the link between technology and experience: observing the details of real use, seeing new boat models up close, and picking up signals coming from the market allows us to continually evolve. At Logika Control, innovation comes from listening: This is where we start from to constantly improve our design approach and offer electronic solutions that are increasingly effective, reliable, and suitable for the marine environment.
Logika Control's vision for boating
Despite a slight downturn in the small- to medium-sized boat market, the nautical sector confirms itself as one of the most interesting markets for us. In recent times, technology is reaching levels of development that were unthinkable a few years ago.
Paolo Nozza - R&D Director
The Genoa Boat Show has given us back energy and new perspectives. And it is from here that we start again, to continue innovating in one of the most fascinating and challenging areas of industrial technology.
